I have taken some time from posting. Family time, preparations for what was stating in the blog post “Bettering My Life” (as today marks day one), posting on our stakes Facebook page. Recovering from working more during December at my night job and the stress I put myself through.
Our stake started a new venture this year. A few of our wards are short on youth, so they decided to combine some of our wards, but just during the youth programs. The adults would meet separately. We are joined with the Spanish branch.
This means they have sacrament meeting first, then we would have Sunday school with the youth and primary together with their ward. The adults will have their own meetings for Sunday school and Relief Society/Priesthood.
In primary we are striving to bring the Spanish and English together, so no one is left out. I am so excited and happy for this opportunity. The spirit is sweet, and the children are learning. We have a few leaders who are bilingual.
