Today wasn’t a resting day. Our son, daughter-in-law and grandson were coming over for dinner, and I promised my little guy that the next time he came over I would have the family room (downstairs) cleaned up, cuz the last time they were here, it was a mess as we were reorganizing it, and he couldn’t go down.
The plan for them to come over was sudden, so this nana needed to keep her promise.
We had pancakes, Em brought a breakfast casserole and after dinner, we went downstairs and enjoyed ourselves. It was wonderful to have a nice, clean place to gather.
I put our individual keepsake boxes, which were kind of out of the way, but not, that I am adding to as I go through stuff, in an orderly place where it won’t be a temptation to a 4 year old. I picked up, put away, threw away, wiped down and vacuumed.
