Yes indeed, 2020 has been a great challenge to everyone. Starting with Covid, THAT truly affected the world. Earthquakes, including where we live, water contamination, water line breaks, huge wind storms tearing up century-old trees, lengthy power outages, FIRES, employment issues or the lack thereof, and oh so much more.
The New Year is a time to contemplate the past year and goals for the year(s) to come. I have heard so many say, I can’t wait for 2020 to be over with.
Might I suggest a different view, like I’m the queen of this myself? Look at the lessons from this past year. Starting with shortages. When things broke loose everyone rampaged the store for TP, hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes and sprays. I noticed in my area lots of canned and packaged items were obvious targets, however, the fresh produce section wasn’t. The Lesson-storage and preparedness. Not ‘Prepper’, with bunkers and such, but simple storage and preparedness. There will be more on this later in the year.
Look for the blessings. Make a list. You’ll see that there were indeed things that were good. Not a single one of us had the exact same challenges.
May this year be a great one for ‘YOU’. Filled with many blessings and opportunities for learning and growth.
