March 4th to May 30th. It was a long road and lots of changes, as Farmer John decided to put up the wooden fence after I had mad plans for grow boxes because he wanted to help minimize the sight off people coming up the street from the yappers next door, who are constantly barking. It wasn’t what I really wanted but we went with it.
Then, with the fence slats shrinking and warping and needing to be replaced or moved, we weren’t able to have an actual grow box, we needed something moveable, so I found the grow bags. The large black pots for the trees I already had.
Farmer John worked so hard on this while this Farmer Jane was at work. I am so grateful for the blessings that we have been given. The garden got in late this year, but we are ready for next year. We made mistakes, but these experiences will help us to grow.
